Orthopedic Sports Therapy in Tempe has been a godsend. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in 2021. Injections, stretching exercises and a splint helped somewhat, but I needed a long-term plan to deal with the pain which was often intense. My podiatrist agreed and referred me for PT. I had previously received treatment at this facility after a knee replacement and was very satisfied. I especially like Orthopedic Sports Therapy because you work directly with a physical therapist – no PT assistants. I have been working with therapist JJ and PT Intern Dusty. They have shown me how to stretch and strengthen muscles and within two weeks the pain in my left heel/foot was decreased. My legs feel stronger and yesterday I was able to walk two miles on the canal bank with no pain. Dusty especially has been very creative with the exercises that he has assigned and works with me to modify them when necessary. By the time I complete PT I feel that I will have the tools to manage the plantar fasciitis. I would highly recommend this facility.
